Heather joined the Barrhaven Optometric Centre in 2008 and enjoys helping patients choose pleasing, functional eyewear to enhance their everyday lifestyle. A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Heather graduated with honours, from Georgian College in Barrie from the Opticianry program in 2002 and became licensed by the College of Opticians of Ontario in 2003. She also attended the B.Sc program in Biology at Lake Superior State University in SSM, MI. Upon graduating, Heather moved to Ottawa with her husband, Brian and worked in Kanata and Barrhaven dispensing eyewear. Her spare time is spent with her two sons, Lukas and Jake and cheering on the Sens, 67’s and SSM Greyhounds!
