Jen had over 5 years experience in the optical industry before joining the Barrhaven Optometric Centre in 2005. She is enjoying her role and responsibilities as Office and IT Manager. Jen has knowledge in many aspects of the ever-changing eye care industry and is committed to continually updating her skills. Jen’s friendly and helpful personality enables her to develop positive relationships with both patients and staff, while being eager to always share her knowledge and expertise.

She graduated from Carleton University in 2007 with a major in Sociology and minor in Psychology. She has also completed the Canadian Association of Optometrists course and is a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant. When away from the office, she has a passion for all things related to health & fitness, fashion and travel. Her journeys include visits to Japan, India, Egypt, China, Brazil and Argentina. Jennifer grew up in the Barrhaven area and is excited to be a part of the expanding community and the growing Barrhaven Optometric practice. She currently resides in Barrhaven with her husband and looks forward to eventually raising her own family in the Barrhaven community.
