Kate began with the Barrhaven Optometric Centre in July of 2007. Her lively personality and quick witted nature made her transition on staff enjoyable.  Kate looks after many varied tasks at the office, but her main focus is dispensing and repairing glasses. She also assists with pre-testing patients, conducting Visual Field tests, and aiding in contact lens training. Kate graduated from Brock University in 2007 acquiring a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education. She has completed her Optometric Assistant Course offered through the Canadian Association of Optometrists and enjoys continuing her education in this profession. When Kate is not at work she enjoys physical fitness, cooking, spending time with her boyfriend and visiting family and friends.
