Laurel graduated from the Ophthalmic Dispensing Program at Seneca College in 1985 and received her license from the College of Opticians the same year. Born and raised in the Niagara area, Laurel joined our clinic in 2001, when her husband’s job brought the family to Ottawa. With years of experience and a wealth of knowledge, Laurel prides herself in the service she is able to provide. Laurel specializes in educating patients on frame and lens selections and is an expert in handpicking the frames we offer in our clinic. She provides friendly, professional service, making your experience pleasant with her sense of humor and enthusiasm. When not at work, Laurel enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, travel, cheering for her son at the hockey rink or baseball field and acting as groom for her daughter’s equestrian endeavors.
