Leigh joined the Barrhaven Optometric Centre in 2002, with twelve years previous experience in the optical industry. She received her certification as an optometric assistant in 2006 and employs her skills in such duties as frame and lens selections, contact lens training, pre-screening and visual fields. Leigh has a keen sense of style, which has earned her the responsibility of meeting with frame vendors to select product, as well as choosing much of the decor/displays in the office.  Her good humour and fashion sense make patients feel comfortable and confident when selecting their new eyewear.

Outside of work Leigh has always enjoyed a passion for anything involving home renovations and decorating. Shortly after getting married in 1996, Leigh began a certificate course in Residential Decor. Since starting a family in 1999, her focus has been being a devoted mother to her two lovely daughters.
