Dr. Graham grew up in the small town of Russell, just a short drive away from Barrhaven. After graduating from Osgoode Township High School, he continued his education at The University of Waterloo where he completed an Honours Science degree, during that time he was twice recognized as an Academic All- Canadian Athlete while competing for the Men’s Varsity hockey team. Upon graduation Dr. Graham moved south to attend The Indiana University School of Optometry where he spent 4 years gaining valuable knowledge and experience. In his final year he was awarded the Vistakon Award for Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care. During clinical rotations Dr. Graham worked for the U.S. Veterans Affairs Hospital system in New York and Florida where he obtained priceless experience and knowledge in the diagnosis, treatment and management of many ocular diseases. Through his Optometry program, Dr. Graham was able to gain experience in clinics specializing in, pediatrics, low vision, and contact lenses.
After 8 years of schooling around the continent Dr. Graham is thrilled to be home and has recently moved to the Barrhaven community. In his spare time he enjoys watching and participating in all sports, specifically the high levels of hockey and the great golf courses the city has to offer. Dr. Graham and his wife, fellow optometrist Dr. Rosanna Rivard, intend to be a part of the Barrhaven community for many years to come and look forward to helping the practice and community continue to grow together.
